This is the second book like this I have reviewed and my thoughts are basically the same.  The book is beautiful: the nice shiny pink front cover, 50 reusable stickers and activities on every page. I appreciate the book's modest attire. The characters are Cinderella styled, but with long lovely gowns on. The thing I don't like as much is again, there is only one page that has a spot for the stickers and there is no real story line.  Princess Joy is having a birthday party and the activities are all centered around that. There are pictures to color, a find a word, a maze, a note the differences between the two pictures and a find the hidden objects page.  It's definitely a fun book and while it's a regular sized book, it is small and would easily slide into a bag without taking up a lot of room.

The book is geared to 4-8 year olds and while I don't have a lot of experience I would say that is pretty appropriate.  As far as being a Christian book, God is talked about a bit, but there are no spiritual truths really taught in the book, but neither is there anything questionable.  I am looking forward to Amber being old enough to have fun playing with the stickers and doing the activities in the book.  I would definitely recommend these books to anyone looking for something for girls this age. I don't think boys would be quite as impressed :) :)  In fact, I have purchased two other books in this series to give away as gifts.

Ah yes, this was just what the doctor ordered. I've wanted to review Dorcas' last book or two and was always too chicken to ask, but this time I threw caution to the wind and said, "Yes, I want to review your book." And I'm so glad I did. It was the perfect book for this stage in my life. Short, easy to read chapters that can be picked up and read whenever and wherever. They are guaranteed to either make you laugh, smile, cry, or or just give you that ah-ha feeling that someone else experiences life like that too.  I could quote from pretty much every chapter something that struck me in one of those ways, but I really want you to go buy the book so I won't do that many spoilers. I only want to give you a hint of what is to come in the book. First off, isn't the cover beautiful? I can dream of a kitchen table like that with the apple pie still steaming and the tea pot, or coffee pot more likely, full to the brim and a beautiful arrangement of flowers

Five Lies of our Anti-Christian Age by Rosario Butterfield

 What a great book for this time in history. There was just so gold to be mined out of this book and so much I missed I'm sure. I would love to read this book again using the study guide so that I could learn more. Rosario doesn't beat around the bush. She tells it like it is even if she has to acknowledge areas where she has failed in, lies she has believed and needed to repent of. I find her faith in God and belief in His word and her ability to express those things refreshing and convicting.  The five lies she addressed in this book are: 1. Homosexuality is normal 2. Being a spiritual person is kinder than being a Biblical Christian 3. Feminism is good for the world and the church 4. Transgenderism is normal 5. Modesty is an outdated burden that serves male dominance and holds women back.  I wish somehow I could hang on to the way she's says things so that I could better express myself in challenging conversations.  "When we dispense with the wisdom of the creation
